Whats all the moaning your all like a bunch of nagging old women, ive recoded mine and apart from the audio being over dubbed, its crystal clear and if you all learn`t to encode properly then it would be in sync like mine, I think a lot of the problems these days is every ones D/L free shity programes that encode to fast and knacker up the audio sync, go back to the old school ways when it used to take 1.5 to 2 hrs to do it properly and everything works fine.

Out of sync is out of sync. It’s that simple. Now, if there is a program that will sync it and let me preview it before i reencode it, then it’s not a big issue for me.

I’m seeing a pattern in which release groups are releasing r5 movies just to be first or prove that they have the original source, rather than making sure it’s in sync first. It can’t be that hard. First don’t always mean better.

VirtualDubMod will allow you to alter the audio and preview it. Once you are happy with the ms delay (milliseconds can be added or delayed) VirtualDubMod will then save the video without reencoding (Direct Stream Copy) and will do the same for the audio (Direct Stream Copy but ms added or delayed) and will take about 2 minutes total.

I hear what ur sayin about release groups releasing to be first, but the first few releases were in sync, just worse audio. I can’t comment on this audio here (everyone’s complaining it’s out of sync instead of commention) but ViSiON didn’t release to be first.

These movies are free, keep in mind that these are not DvD releases they are just R5′s re-encoded by different release groups trying to appearl to the downloading public, the reason why these release groups are pushing out so many releases is because they just want to make you happy because alot of you re complaining about the the audio.

I personally don’t think the audio is a big issue just, I have the NOIR release an besides thee fact that the sound is not all that great you can hear what he are saying, the picture is pretty good to.

Just as long as I can watch an follow an movie that’s all that matters, if I want a quality release of this movie to burn to DISC I will just wait for the Blue-Ray or DVD release, that’s if after viewing the movie it’s worth putting on DISC.

So for now this R5 will do : )

I think the only people complaining are the pirates that want to burn these to DISC an sell them on the street

The audio is out of sync at the start of the movie but later on it gets proper sync (about an hour into it the sync is good). It looks like a 2 CD release was combined into a single file with the first half being out of sync and the second half being in sync, strange…

If you shift the audio it will be in sync for the first half and then out of sync for the second half. Maybe someone will make a proper of this file and get the audio sync’d for the entire movie. I will try splitting it, adjusting the audio timings then rejoin it and hopefully it will be in sync throughout. Or maybe I’ll just wait a day and see if the proper comes out.

Probably because they take the audio from one release to sync it to another release

Then you have to factor in different framerates different runtimes etc. They probably just scanned the first couple of seconds at the start and end of the film to see if it was in sync. They are knocking out so many films that they cant check each one.

Seemed like a good film from the description, even seemed a good film as i started watching it (regardless of the the audio, i watched noir version) but to be honest the film was not very good. starts out fine, then kind of plummets the last 30 minutes. i was more impressed with the lower budget 9 miles down. best thing about it was looking at diaz and the time set (check out that wallpaper, yuck and was jvc around in those days?)
