Season 13 Episode 11 – Whale Whores
Stan and his family are spending his birthday at the Denver Aquarium where they will get to swim with the dolphins.     hey ive been getting an aggressive pop-up “ad” that actually takes me away from this site and tries to a install that stupid MS anti-virus, what should i do? stop coming or what? thx for any info, i usually run ubuntu but my pc bit the dust and im using a back up which has winxp and i haven’t used any Microsoft programs or the OS in years, like 5 to be exact so im stuck on this prob.
    lol and i dont wanna take off my xp, my kids use it for homework, with no network access, until i get my new pc going with ubuntu and that won’t happen till the end of NOv, pc’s dont fall out of trees :P

    Based on the symptoms you just described, it seems your computer is infected with spyware and malware. If you keep being redirected when you enter this site w/wo clicking anything than that’s a sign you have malware. Specially that stupid little MS anti-virus, or Pro Antivirus bull.

    This is the best single thing you can do.
    1) Download and Run Malwarebytes >>http://www.malwarebytes.org/
    The Free version is all you need.
    Do a Full System Scan, you should grab dinner while you wait.
    Delete all malware scanned, Restart PC.
    2) Get a Friggin Firewall >>>http://www.zonealarm.com/security/en-us/zonealarm-pc-security-free-firewall.htm

    That should take care of it.

    P.S if you can’t open or run Malwarebytes, then buddy your in deep yogurt.

    Wonderful – I downloaded and installed Malwarebytes as directed above, ran the scanner and it froze my Vista PC. I rebooted and got the blue screen of death and now can’t even boot up. Can’t even recognize my OS or Hard disk. Thanks a lot!! Beware of Malwarebytes – it fried my PC. Oh well good excuse to upgrade to Windows 7.

    Bluescreen of death,

    Ihave used malwarebytes for about 2 years. Its a free jewel. If you got that blue screen it must have been because the virus you picked up had already done a good amount of damage. I bet it corrupted your registry key.
    By the way Vista sucks. Get Windows 7.

    I stand by my word, malwarebyte rocks.

    By the way really like this new episode!!
    Only South Park has the gutts to take the mic out of other countries habbits!!

    I use firefox and blocksite to stop all those nasty ad sites.
    Works like a charm!
    Look up any advertising server site u come across in your history and copy that address to blocksite. Yeah get the odd blank page starting up but thats it killing those damn ad servers :D
    Shame they havent updated blocksite yet to work with newest versions of firefox but have no problems at all still running version 3.0.11 :D
    Not had to look at any pop ups for several months now!!
