Minor western offers the traditional elements in sufficient quantity.

It’s nice to know that some indie filmmakers still want to make low-budget, direct-to-DVD westerns. This one has echoes of the recent 3:10 to Yuma. Badman-turned-bounty-hunter Nate (Jarret LeMaster) badly needs the money he would get if he captures a female outlaw known as “the Sparkle-Eyed Kid” (Michelle Acuna). Little problem: She’s already in jail, so he’ll have to bust her out. This serviceable little oats opera won’t win any Oscars, but it has all the elements demanded by devotees of this genre
