why do people enjoy watching something that is full of bad actors on steroids?
Pro wrestlers are the best one-take actors in the business. They are movie stars who do their own stunts.
And if someone doesn’t like “fake” things, I guess they don’t like movies, either. I’m pretty sure Star Wars is fake.
Besides, while UFC or boxing may be legit sports, (boxing being one is dubious *cough*), the participants aren’t being paid to entertain you. Wrestlers are being paid to put on a good show and entertain you.
Also, I’ve never seen a UFC or boxing guy wrap himself in barbed wire and do a 20-foot-high backflip to land on a guy laying on a table. Never seen one slam another onto thumb tacks. Never seen one throw a guy through a table set on fire. Never seen one kick a metal chair into another guy’s face. Never seen one continue the match after getting his ear ripped off. Never seen one do a flip from the top rope onto another guy outside the ring and land on his head on the concrete with no padding and he continues the match despite being able to see brain matter when the camera zooms in. But, hey, it’s all “fake,” right?
