this is extended version. the reason for ripping HD movies are for people who likes xvid format with the best possible quality. normal xvid quality sucks which uses mostly dvds, so with the access of HD sources you could get the best quality and it also depends on the encoder who do the work. if you want to watch movies on HD which that guy there who is complaining then dont download and stick with mkv or bluray. santi’s releases are compatible with divx standalone players.
HD/Blu-ray SUCKS and is totally over-rated.

I can see his point tho about the concept of having the word “HD” in a rip that does not have HD Video/Audio quality at all as HD is considered at 720p(1280x720p/i or 1920x1080p/i) but True HD is actually at 1920x1080p. Reality since this is only 700×400 is really just Standard Definition quality(regular 640×480 and if you’re watching that on a HD tv it’s gonna look like crap compared what that tv is meant to be done wo why waste your bandwidth and HDD space that can be done with just a DVD rip in a Divx format. But this was from a specific technical standpoint. so really i would call these kind of rips a “Super-DVD”
