Rip Notes: NOTES: Here we go with another CAM release of 17 Again ……This time i’ve used all sources available to bring to you a complete version Sources……the main video is taken from the spanish TS which was pretty good expect the rgb colours were fooked and a bloody chair in the bottom right corner …still pretty good for a cam though.The intro and after “the end” footage is taken from the crap cam that was out a while back …… The audio is taken from devise mic ts …….now it’s up to them what they call their releases and i’m good friends with them… however even friends have to agree to disagree…it’s cam audio,hence my tagging….The audio itself is pretty decent and is better than some direct,but not most……also there is laughing now and again through the film.
WORK DONE: Firstly i needed to strip devise audio and re save….. Then i needed to take the intro and ending of the the crap cam release and save each part on their own. now it was a case of joining the two poor cam quality files to the begining and ending of the spanish release to make it a complete version….. Now i filtered the spanish video part……for this i had to mess with the rgb colours,which was hard as the colours seem to change throughout the movie,best way would have been to cut the film up into several parts and filter that way….however for a cam i ain’t wasting that much time :lol: Some what i did was find a medium and used that ……the original was way too green in some parts and other times to red/yellow…….Oriignal soure also contained some video noise so i used a video noise reduction filter to try and clean it up that touch more. Once all that was done it was just a matter of filtering the video with the simple stuff of contrast,gamma,lum etc….. Now onto the hard part……syncing the audio.I thought devises audio would have just gone straight over the top ….which it did until around 43mins into the film….it went 1sec oos.Checked devises releases and theirs an overlap or glitch on the scene where he is playing basketball with his son in the yard….From then on it was oos for the next 25mins or so ranging from -800 – -1200 ms….Need 8 cuts during that time range. Alot of problems was caused by the overlap or glitch….but there was also some sligth oos on the devises release aswell (see the garden scene when it’s all lit up and in the court case) only slightly but enough to throw it off even worse for me .. Oh also i’ve kept the res and bitrate the same as the original so i loss less quality Overall based on a CAM v8 a7 m4…………Probably will be the best until retail now as not sure if there’s an r5 of this due so ……if your not too fuss then it’s fine to watch otherwise wait that bit longer ;-)
