Why do they act as if its their files [movies] that are being leeked, ask the producer of X-men how he felt when they got hold of HIS movie and pre-d it for themselves.

X-Men (for an e.g.) movie WAS leaked by the producers
to create “internet publicity” to get more of the public`s movie $$$
just take a look at the the scenereleases workprint listing, all those movies SUCKED
so they released those workprints jus to lure more ppl to the theaters….
@ 7 again..regarding the X-Men Wolverene Workprint i believe that thats a p2p release and tbh the guy who leaked it is getting big jail time if he/she is caught…now if that dude sent it to a scene group they know all the tricks of the trade regarding removing watermarks etc ohh and i believe if someone in the scene got it they would have taken off this part A brief caption at the beginning of the film reads ‘Rising Sun Pictures’ the fingers are pointing to an employee of rising sun pictures in australia oooops

if you use a movie editor and and went thru frame by frame of X-men ( and had the time on ur hands )you will find that that the any identifying marks HAVE been removed from the workprint
(i forget which frame it is but in the middle lower left hand side a piece has been cut out you would never notice it seeing how a film runs at 1/60 per second yea i do have time on my hands…lol)
and as far as the studio SCREAMING ” we will perscute the leak to the fullest extent of the law”
only adds to the hype and i wouldnt be surprised IF the studio offered up a “sacrifical lamb” just to generate more hype…

have private screenings of movies with a few dozen ppl just to get their input on it and if the recruits think the movie sucks then the executive`s prolly say OK lets leak this to the scene/P2P ,then bitch an whine that it was leaked (or do more as in the case of X-Men)then jus sit back and smile as the movie $$$ roll in from those that HAS downloaded the workprint/screener and want to really see the movie,unless in the case of Paul Blart Mall Cop which sucked, an i recommened to a few other ppl dont waste ur $$ on the movie go see something else

As for the WP.. you never know what their cases are. Yeah the Xmen film was leaked badly with credits and shit and not cropping the bars (which could have a watermark or so). Pending the movie you never know. But it sgreat to see them leak for us to enjoy

@ ironic regarding those 3 people who got done for uploading those screeners to bittorrent thats the whole point they got caught do you get it now..thats the whole reason the scene doesnt want nowt to do with p2p its public…if anyone gets their hands on a screener for example phyisically handed to them by an industry source for example then contact a good scene group and they will give you details of a very private secure ftp used by the group that is fast but no other releases on it,the group obviously need evedence that you actually have the files or physical dvd in order for them to go that far..next stage after its uploaded to their private ftp the group has to ACTUALLY watch it for sync issues etc(they are supposed to watch the whole release) and look for watermarks etc so it doesnt get back to the source of the leak..the file is then worked on ie if its gonna be released as 1 cd or 2 cds etc ie scene rules…if everything is ok with the release then it will get announced/pred and then curried around all the topsites that allow those type of releases and walla trickles down to newsgroups/rs/p2p and original uploaders ip isnt exposed to the whole world bla bla bla anyways im rambling l8rs lol leech away
