Notes: Right this is a re-encode of bald’s scr…..
The original source was good but lacked some life…..looked a bit grey and dull.
Audio was nice clear but also seemed to lack some life.
Also i know this is late and there’s plenty of re-encodes already out…..so if you want grab it
if not move long
Work Done:
Firstly i stripped the audio and tweaked the EQ in AA3 and and resaved it……then i muxed it back to the video.
Then onto the video tweaking……first thing was to increase the gamma and lum to brighten it up,then i increased the contrast alot to equal
it all out and the finally lowered the rgb black base to remove any bright parts,Oh and also slightly increased the chroma
Once done it was a case of just trying to make it look sharper….for this i used a contour filter and also messed with another sharpen filter
i don’t normally use….
Test on TV after and looked good so
Overall v8.5 a7.5 m6 Best to date so far and more then watchable on any tv……however if you want better quality then wait for the dvd or r5
which just be far away i think.

waiting for underworld,he’s not that in to you,the uninvited,the punisher 2,the international push twilight, bedtime stories … taken r5 came out like 3 months ago which is a really good movie and its in theaters now which i understand because it was filmed in
Europe, are the dvd screeners made in the U S that hard to get? not that i’m complaining, you guys do a great job which i wouldn’t mind doing my self if i knew how to get them

Taken has been out longer then 3 months , even the bluray has been out for a few months already.
Fair play STG for keepin mp3 audio, other lamers convertin to ac3 n loosin bandwidth off vid, LMFAO.

To be honest I think STG does good work so why don’t you guys back down a bit? If you don’t like his releases then y’know don’t download them… simple as that
