81st Annual Academy Awards

alignleft

This is a special post for the 81st Annual Academy Awards containing (when available):
The imdb link when you click on the name of the movie/person that’s nominated.
Then the category of the best possible quality behind it that’s out.
And a search for the release for the pirate bay and mininova.
You can be sure there will be packs coming out containing only the Oscars winners and later on the DVD Rip packs.
And of course the broadcast itself.

This post has been made by Faolan Scath, M4TRiX and Sta1ns.
It was a lot of work because this is all typed this by hand and could hardly copy/past a lot. (around 3 hours in total)
We hope you like it because there will come similar posts in the future (and also hope for a decent live video stream then!)
Nice to have laggy tv stream then none at all:-)
All the winners have been added, I hope you enjoyed what we did.

Slumdog Millionaire is a must see, if you haven’t watched it yet DDL it here.

Nice post. Its a shame Frost/Nixon didn’t win anything. But I guess Slumdog steamrolled it with its momentum.

They need to rename the Academy Awards, to International Academy Awards. Ausie host + best suport actor, Scott best director, Brit best actress, spanish best support actress, Indian best movie, what the f**k america don’t we have enough talent anymore. You global slut.

  20. Anonymous /

    @ trianglechoke
FYI The Academy Awards have always been on an International level… There just happened to be more foreign films this year that were WORTHY… I’m glad Slumdog won, they deserved it. Another well deserved win- but I was surprised he was voted- Sean Penn.. wow, what a performance. I guess the Academy is finally voting based on the actual work- and not the “buzz”.

  21. Anonymous /

Oh, forgot to give THANKS to Faolan Scath for the post- great work- and the oscar for best Academy Award recap on a scene site goes to…! lol

  22. What a complete waste of 3 hours. This has to be the most boring post anyone has ever posted in the history of posting boring posts.
Why waste your time and effort. Get a life and find something real to do.

“I guess the Academy is finally voting based on the actual work- and not the “buzz”.”

Slumdog won because of all the hype and “buzz” it has been getting. It’s just an average movie. If you don’t agree, you haven’t seen a lot of great foreign films.

  29. spoilers_suck /

Thanks for posting the winners in the open, everyone loves spoilers. idiot.

  30. that’s why you guys are the best
