    You can use convertxtodvd! All 720p releases are usally always .mkv

    LMAO. No, you CANNOT use convertxtodvd. Well, you could but you would be wasting your time and bandwidth. It will not allow for the full resolution and you would lose the HD quality, thus making it pointless. You’d be better off gettin Larceny’s dvd rip and making a dvd with that.

    If you have a blu ray player you can make an avchd disk on a regular dvd as this has a correct aspect ratio (1280*720). You wont lose any quality, just use tsmuxer and mux it to Blu ray and burn it to dvd

    I use convertxtodvd with 720p mkv files, I get a great quality, superior than any retail DVD (I usually have to use a double layer DVD, and if you have an upconverting DVD player and HD TV set, you won`t believe your eyes).

    Why convert an HD rip to a DVDrip? Kingben or Devise should have a rip soon with a higher resolution than Larceny’s. Use their rips with convertx. But converting a 4gb 720p file with convertx is pointless. LOL. Grab yourself a h264 rip with a dvd resolution and a bitrate in the thousands and you’ll have a perfect dvd. Or get a player that will play the mkv natively or convert it to AVHCD or MP4 and play it in a PS3 or Xbox360 or something of the sort. But it is idiotic to convert an HD file with convertx. And this release wouldn’t even fit on a single layer dvd. Airheads, that Anonymous guy isn’t the only noob obviously.

    It is NOT pointless, nor idiotic. HD/BluRay Rips converted to DVD with ConvertX look dayumn good. As good as or better than the retail DVD. ConvertX does killer with 1280p or 720p, and besides it’s ALWAYS better to downscale on an encode than to upscale, no matter what soft you are using.
