ok but i can hopefully now get hold of the iso as tpb is embarrassingly slow and rs is just shite.
This is the whole story what I did:
1. installed the game
2. used the FCUKTHESCENE crack
3. unplugged the net
3?. I also tried changing the resolution but without success (I dont know if its needed)
4. and finally deleted GTAIVGDF.dll
After this point the game runnig smoothly. I played about a hour without any problems (still disconected from network)

I actually considered purchasing the game based on the reviews, but then saw all that drm crap you put in it and requiring two site logins to play online, decided I will stick with game companies that respect their customers.

Textures/Performance problem fixed, just overwrite everything in main directory and copy paul.dll to Offlineregistration dir.
If you get drunk camera problem just change resolution and restart the game works perfectly. Trust me on this one IT REALLY WORKS!

I typed together a small tutorial for everyone based on experience I read around the net.
You can either use The STON3D crack with darkcoders paul.dll OR FCUKTHESCENEs crack! When you get the shaky camera, enter teh display options, change the resolution and it will work until you start the game up next time (or you need to restart right away after changing the resolution, try what works for you).
Repeat as necessary.
Works for to many people not to check it out.

How to apply the crack, as used by most people that report its working:
1. Install the game
2. Copy the FCUKTHESCENE or STON3D cracked files, replacing the existing ones
3. Disable your Internet connection
4. delete GTAIVGDF.dll
5. Start up the game in offline mode (both Windows Live and Social Club have to be set to offline mode to work flawless)
6. IF you get the shaky camera bug, change the resolution and restart the game.
Please reply if you arent successfull and give some info so we can figgure out how to get this to work for everybody.

Actualy it does work but not allways. Cant explain but one time i go in i get auto acceleration and camera shit and the next one it works fine. Been playng in 1024×768 Resolution. Save are ok if u make offline Games for Windows Live account. And the problem im having is in that in the game its impossible to use computers maybe its another protection shit i dont know just telling so u know.
