i find it surprising the scene haven’t banned them yet. since all TRADINGSTANDARDS does is poke fun at scene with their p2p releases.

so then why the fuck are there no releases where the size of the encode only depends on length of movie, codec used and resolution?? and are instead based on archaic measurements of an obsolete media. 350mb 700mb 2x700mb (2 files, shit why the fuck would i want a slight pause in the middle of my movie.. than jeebus for virtualdub). do these cocksucker not have harddrives? are they still stuck in the fucking stoneage with their entire collections in stacks/shelves/cupboards full of discs? I mean shit, even dvds stopped being a remotely practical form of backup for me a while ago.. when i hit 750 non-duplicated fully databased (title, category(tvshow,movie,anime etc), genre(comedy,drama), quality/source, filesize, res, format, disc#) dvds i retired it… now my backup is on 4 1terra drives on another pc..
at least chinese torrent have got the idea.. i see 576mb files 820mb files etc etc.. i mean they have some obsession with the shitty rmvb container, plus its unbearable because of up to 4 sets of hard-coded subs.. but at least its mostly x264 not this redundant legacy xvid codec..

While I’m not nuts about ALL the scene rules, I still appreciate them. I do like knowing what I dl will play consistently without any additional fucking around.
For TS, I really don’t care. Best pre wins, and the rest are ignored. Bandwidth only gets wasted when people choose to dl shit.
At least in the scene they uphold quality releases even if cams are shit.
With p2p its not common to know what your getting in it.
