This is a new updated list of R5 release dates from my older post here. I have also included the most recent releases for each that are posted here. Apparently based on comments, I suppose I need to go further into this. These dates are ANYTHING but perfect! These are a guideline, nothing set in stone. And for those of you saying that there’s already a release out thats out (for pineapple express, batman, and fred clause) those are DVD Screeners not R5!! These are not release dates for when the movie comes out on the internet its a particular kind of release its and R5 which is Russian DVD’s basically. I’ve included a picture of the different regions! R1=DVDRip R2=Europe R3=Japan R4=Australia/South America R5=Russia/Africa R6=China. Then on top of everything, just becuse they’re released doesn’t mean anyone has line audio for that particular movie in english, R5′s are in Russian. Now hopefully you are better informed.

The Dark Night R1 is set to be released on December 9th.
Tropic Thunder R1 will be released on Novemember 18th. Please Check your sources are get the proper R5 Release dates. anyyways thanks for the great blog.

I assume this means the suspected release date was listed, and that some of these have already been released in the form/fashion as listed…way ahead of what was scheduled on the list.
Most of us know that we can’t bank on these lists. All you can do is use them to get an estimeated time on something and use them for informational purposes only. Things pretty much get released when they get released, and good CAMs or TS’s may never surface on something (Fred Claus, Pineapple Express…), and a simple leak or find allows others to get released way ahead of schedule (The Dark Knight, Pineapple Express).

Wondering how the dates were arrived from,, cause mov ie dot com gives the actual dvd release date of tropic thunder as November 18th, and here the screener date is given as december 2.. so r we to expect that the R5 will come after the retail release??

Although the dates are rarely ever perfect, from the past i have seen they give a pretty good indication, bar a couple, personally im doubting a couple on there, including 007: Quantum of Solace, but i do hope i am wrong, would love to get an early copy of this one :)

Before I stumbled on to sr I used bitzi and didnt have a clue what r1 or r5 was I was happy with the free stuff I got now I wait and GO ON WITH MY LIFE and when a stellar release pops up unexpectedly I am happy to get it before the normal joe.

Thanks for the list and all the hardwork that went into it but as stated is a guesstimate and not written in stone that they WILL be around within a day or two of the dates on the list, so all I can say is why even bother posting them anyway?, if its out then fine if its not well wait. RLSLOG is the shite that (oops i meant site silly me), that usually cares about this but come on this is a more mature audience you have in here so lets leave the assumptions and guesses to the little boys on that other shite (oops I did it again)

it is weird that r5 of some are coming out right after they release in theatres as well as some on this list are slated for release after the dvd releases in stores…im confused
thwbr the release dates to theatures are different for everyone max paynes been out in theatures for like a week now in the us, check imdb for the theature release dates ;) different everywhere

Thanks for the list, though there’ll be a dvdrip/bdrip/dvdr of Dark Knight way before Dec 9, thats the US retail date and usually dvd/bd rips are released at least 2-3 weeks before retail, even earlier sometimes. There won’t be an R5 of Dark Knight, its almost November so most likely we are looking at top quality BD/DVD versions now. Can’t wait
