seems ok, think i’ll wait for a 1080p version with a higher bitrate. 15gb is worth it for this movie (and the 2nd)
I like the third just as well.
Yeah, great film as well, I suppose it just wasn’t up to the standard set by the first 2.
Maybe number 3 is worth 11.75gb
A release you can’t refuse.
Is This the coppola restoration?
yes it is! this is the only copy on Bluray
be bad not to get this
Why not keep it 4.5G if its only 720p, or am i talking out of my backside?
Is it so impossible to do this?
I am poor… hehehe.. double layer dvd’s cost more money here.
lol
4.5G @ 720p? HAHAHAHAHAHAHAAA. This movie is entirely too long. Stick to DivX releases if you are worried about space.

I believe the scene rules stipulate that video bitrate should average 4000 or better. So if this movie was to be reduced onto a DVD5 disk, the video bit rate would fall below 4000 and that’s why it’s been squeezed down to DVD9 size. The current video bit rate is ~5779 so it meets scene rules. :)
However, this release should be NUKED due to OVER CROPPING. The Blu Ray has an Aspect Ratio of 1.85, which translates to 1280 x 688. ADHD released this 720p rip at a resolution of 1280 x 720. They OVER CROPPED and the AR is incorrect. So this release should be NUKED. Hopefully some group will release a PROPER.
To:”"Why not keep it 4.5G if its only 720p, or am i talking out of my backside?”
Movies with 16×9 AR require more bitrate than those with 2.35:1 AR, as they have more “actual” image per frame.
Even greater is the fact that this movie is 3 hours long, getting it to fit a DVD5 would require the video bitrate be somewhere around 2900 kbps which would make it look horrible as this is a SD level bitrate and wouldn’t suffice for a movie of this AR and length.
