Just a note to all, this game can only be played as it was meant to be by purchasing it, since the online stuff doesn’t work with a crack.
The game is also of a scale and ‘cost to produce’, that buying it so that they can make a profit will give them more confidence that the PC is still a viable platform for gaming (and more importantly, profits, they ARE a business).
Just purchase the game, in the end it is for our own good.
This goes for all good games of course.

I’m going to DL and try the game out first so I don’t end up dicked like all the assholes who bought Alone In the Dark 5 before the protection was cracked…glad I didn’t buy that steaming pile of shit. If your so worried about the future of PC gaming go buy all the games you wan’t…but stfu about it because I don’t really give a fuck…I have a 360 and a PS3 ta boot. And to the Reloaded fanboy….all release groups get nuked on a fairly regular basis, thats why you see a lot of propers. From what I have heard, there is no alternative to the emulation crack as of yet….and it has not been nuked as far as I know.

It works, with crack, but as stated before, only with the content that comes with the game.
If purchased, the game actively downloads content from other players around the globe or something, making the game a LOT less generic.
I have no clue how much content is in there tho, it could be more than enough for anyone who plays it a few times, then discards it.
n00bslay3r, the anon poster before you didn’t mention anything about ‘downloading a game to try it’, so i think you are reading that post entirely wrong. He/she states that the game is ‘better’ when bought due to the online content. There is not a word about not downloading it, be it for keeps or to try. I think the poster makes a very valid point (and obviously avoided the whole downloading thing entirely).
