the r5 release date for The Incredible Hulk was july 8 so i guess it’s overdue. just have to be patient, it’s out when it’s out :)

How is the Scene supposed to stay ahead of the game, when people like you all, keep bitching and moaning at each other.
You should ALL take time to think about it, and realize that no matter what your personal feelings are…….none of you are in control of what comes out….who releases it….how good the quality is…..or when it will hit the Scene. You are just the dix that are going to download it and watch it for free. You should feel lucky you can do that……some people dont have access to the Scene, some people have no idea that there even is a Scene.

R5 is released earlier in an attempt to cut down on video piracy, and R5 isnt just Russia, its also some of india and africa.. the movies are cheaply made in an attempt at a quick cash grab before the bootlegs hit the streets of these countries.

lol, I never said mVs and PUKKA are the only ones that get the audio, those groups where just of the top of my head. others like BaLD, RUiNS, iNQONTROL & KAMERA, ect.

actually i see that allot of the r5′s are from interfim.ru. when there’s a new r5 there, after the seeder of the torrent is done, pukka or mvs takes it and slapps on some line audio.
the scene used to nuke releases (stolen.from.p2p.source) that where taken from there but got unnuked after because there was no proof (watermark ect.)

These are not guesses they are the date when the movies reach dvds in Russia. then PUKKA takes them and puts line audio and walla you gave a watchable release.

BTW what happened to Indiana Jones?

R5 refers to a specific format of DVD released in the former soviet union which is in DVD region 5.
R5 releases differ from normal releases in that they are usually a direct telecine transfer of the film without any of the image processing common on DVD releases, and without any special features.Usually pretty good quality picture but the audio is often a let down.

in soviet union the films gos to dvd just in a few weeks (8ish) after its been in the cinema

its all about marketing, i do download them, if i really like the movie, i would buy the original once it comes out, not only to show support, just you know, its a good film.

its all about the hype and mass marketing.
